Dance Troupe Audition – Adelaide High School
On Friday 3rd June, members of the school’s dance troupe auditioned for guest artist at this year’s Festival of Music. Anela, Ella, Paris and Ruby did an amazing job at showcasing their talents in front of a panel of judges with the opportunity for Fulham North Primary to cement two places in this year’s Festival of Music as guest artists, representing themselves and the school on the big stage at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.
I am super proud of the girls as they came together to create their own choreographed piece, ‘7 Years’ integrating their skills and knowledge of dance elements. They have practiced every Tuesday lunch since the start of the year, demonstrating dedication and commitment to the project.
A big congratulations to Ruby for doing a wonderful job on her solo piece, ‘Angels’. She received positive praise and valuable feedback. Ruby showed confidence and poise – we were all proud of her.
Both Ruby and the troupe will find out soon if they have made this year’s cut. Fingers crossed and chookas girls!
